Urban Parks: birds between us (2-3 hours)

 

Walks in a "Backyard birding" style in two different urban routes with wide green areas . These outings require little physical effort and a great diversity of birds can be seen: Seedeaters, Parrots, Doves, Blackbirds, Hummingbirds, Sparrows, Raptors and some more. 

North & South Hills: Coastal protected areas

Lachay and Asia Hills are natural shelters for representative avifauna. They have a typical climate depending of the dry (Nov - Mar) or green (Jun- Oct) season. Here we can find a diversity of coastal birds & 4 endemics, Hummingbirds, Raptors, Shorebirds, Doves, Parrots, Tinamous and other native fauna and flora. 

Wetlands: key and vulnerable ecosystems

A large diversity of birds in "Pantanos de Villa" or "Puerto Viejo" Private Area (more birds). A wide variety of Southern, Boreal and local birds possible to find  & 2 endemics. These places are protected areas. Bird list includes Ducks, Coots, Shorebirds, Gulls, Egrets, Cormorants, Terns, Flamingos and urban birds.
